Delmarva Chicken Association is bringing back one of the best-loved events in the region – the Delmarva Chicken Festival – for just one more year to help celebrate the 100th anniversary of the broiler chicken community. The festival will include food vendors, an open air marketplace, kids activities, a “Walk Through History” tent, baby chicks, and two stages with programming, including live music by Jimmy Charles, Mike Hines & The Look, and The Jones Boys. Celebrate everything chicken with a wing-eating contest, a chicken pickin’ event, and the Chicken Capers contests! The evening will end with a fantastic fireworks display. This is a free event for all.
