Worcester County Health Department Encourages Residents and Their Pets to Go Red for Women this February

The Worcester County Health Department uses the Go Red campaign to encourage residents to raise awareness about heart disease, risk factors, and prioritizing health. To Go Red with your furry friend, pick up a free pet scarf, put it on your pet, snap a photo, and email the picture to [email protected] to be featured on the Worcester Health social media channels. Scarves will be available throughout February at the following locations:

  • Berlin Health Center: 9730 Healthway Dr. Berlin, MD.
  • Dental Center: 107 Williams St. Berlin, MD.
  • Maryland Access Point (M.A.P.) at Martha and Charles Fulton Senior Center: 4767 Snow Hill Rd. Snow Hill, MD.
  • Ocean City Health Center: 4 Caroline St. Ocean City, MD.
  • Pocomoke Health Center: 400-A Walnut St. Pocomoke City, MD.
  • Snow Hill Health Center: 6040 Public Landing Rd. Snow Hill, MD.
  • Worcester Addictions Cooperative Services Center (W.A.C.S.): 11827 Ocean Gtwy. Ocean City, MD.
  • Worcester County Humane Society: 12330 Eagles Nest Rd. Belin, MD.
  • Berlin Library: 13 Harrison Ave. Berlin, MD.

If you don’t have a pet, no problem! Worcester Health encourages you to visit the Worcester County Humane Society and spend quality time with the animals available for adoption.
